My baby turned four.
He chose the activities for his special day. 1. Fiesta fun. 2. Pizza Factory. 3. Cake and presents. I have not had a pizza factory bread stick in 2 1/2 years. Holy cow those are so good.
This is him smiling as Grandma and Grandpa Baird sing him the birthday song.
His choice of cake was an experiment. He said he wanted a cake with pudding in it. Through questioning him, I found out zilch about what on earth he was talking about. So Jon suggested we bake a bundt cake and pour pudding into the middle. It brought about ideas about volcanoes, but we were not going to go through the hassle of producing something that actually looked like a volcano...because that was more work than we wanted. So we decided to dye vanilla pudding red and see what happened. It looks interesting, if anything else.
But then we cut into it. Volcano action happened. It was actually cool and the kids loved it. Are we bragging about the way it looks? Heck no.
Chocolate cake and pudding are always tasty.

i have to say, four, was my hardest year with bailey. no terrible twos. three was a little more difficult. but four was definitely the hardest with her.
