Crazy, Busy, Happy Life

So we've been busy as can be.  Signing your kids up for soccer with a newborn can be...challenging.  It started when Ty was two weeks. I have just wanted to stay home, but instead I've been loading up the car constantly for games and practices four days of the week. The boys are having lots of fun though, and that's what is important.  I received a phone call from a nurse a week or two ago, who was just checking up on me. She wanted to know how everything was going with the new baby and then ended the convo asking how I had been feeling. I just laughed, since she wanted to know if I had been feeling baby blues or something. I told her the truth, that I was just too dang busy to feel sad.

So here's what else we've been up too. We've had a lot of fun watching our home be built. Seeing the ground leveled, then dug up, the basement walls poured, the ground floor put on, the framing put up, the tresses, and then the roof. Here's our home as we drove up from the car view. (Its on the right).  We asked to have the house moved over a little from being center so that we could have more yard space on the right side of the home since we have a back porch/awning in that area.  It got moved much more to the left than we anticipated.  It had to be in order to work around a green yard utility box and give us another driveway space option. I'm sure those neighbors to the left love how close we are to them. :)

This is what it looks like after one month of being built. Have about two more to go! We are so excited. It's been ten years of renting and now we finally get to buy our very own. It feels great and we feel very blessed and thankful.  You appreciate things more when they don't come easy.

And now for a couple cutie pie pictures: Don't you just want to give him a hug? He wants one.

I love love love after bath pics. They always looks so darling
wrapped up in their baby towels.

And nothing beats your newborn finally smiling. Awwww. Makes pregnancy worth it.

And for a not so cute picture...Logan got ahold of the camera and took several pictures. I had to admit that they were interesting to view. He has a rather artistic ability. I recall Chase when he did this and his were dull, but Logan took much different angles of things. I'm not posting them since only I think they are interesting. And for this picture, its kind of weird, huh? Personally, I think it's hard to look at. Maybe it's his creepy light eyes and the weird wide manly jaw he's rocking.

Here's Chase's self portrait as well.  Just a bit easier to view.

Anyway, love my boys.
