So I haven't really been updating my blog. It seems to not be so "hip" anymore. But then I realized that I wanted to do it for having memories, stories, and photos of my family for the future. I don't know the future of "blogspot" but hopefully it will be around a long time because I've put a lot of stuff on here that I think we will enjoy looking back on.  I'm terrible at printing off pictures and making photo books...which means that i don't.

This is several months worth of goodies.   In November, this crazy little guy turned 7. We went bowling. Does everyone else's kids beg to go bowling, but once we are actually there, they don't seem that into it? Drives me nuts. Anyway, Logan is a tender kid and he has a kind heart. He doesn't like to play too rough with the other boys his age. So he comes home once they start wrestling each other. He likes to cuddle and craves affection. He likes to be creative and do art projects and drawings at times. His main love would be video games, that's all he really seems to be into and the hubby and I try real hard to divert his attention to other things. He is very good at reading, but doesn't seem to love it as much as I would like him too :) Logan likes to build legos, play board games, and ride his bike.

This good looking guy grew a mustache during Mo-vember. I thought he looked pretty darn handsome in it. I didn't love the way it felt, but I thought he pulled it off well. But he hated it. He couldn't stand the feel of it, so he didn't quite make it the whole month.

For Thanksgiving we went up north to spend the holiday with the hubby's family. It was good times watching the two little toddlers sort of interact together. She was pretty good at letting Ty have at her toys.

THE first big dumping of snow...and so far the last.....it was fun while it lasted

We try to get to Tuacaan every year around Christmastime. There is a fun atmosphere with the lights and the scenery.

CHRISTMAS. MY FAVORITE STRESSFULL/FUN TIME OF THE YEAR

The little guy went through a phase of wanting to wear my aprons around for a couple weeks. It's the most girly it gets in this house.

PRESENT TIME!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! We had a fun party with our friends and neighbors and all of us stayed up to midnight. (Rarely happens) Ty got pretty darn tired and cranky so he only made it to 11. I would have put him down sooner if I had been thinking.

We tried ice skating and Logan actually really enjoyed it and took to it pretty quickly. Chase thought it was ok, but it was harder for him. He wanted to leave much sooner but Logan kept begging to stay and keep skating. I grew up in MT where there was a little frozen patch of ice near our house. Many of us cousins would go skate often and play hockey. It was a lot of fun, but the winters were cold and that's where I learned that you should not hop into a hot shower with frozen tootsies. OUCH.

Then there were the boring times of it being cold with not much to do. We had to improvise. Too bad the baby is so much easier to entertain than the older boys.

"There's nothing to do." "I'm sooooo bored."  "What can we do." "I don't want to do any of mom and dad's suggestions. They're lame."

But then February came around and this handsome dude turned 10. We absolutely enjoy this boy. He is a tall and lean thing. He is constantly growing up a shoe size and pant size. He is so sweet, thoughtful,  obedient, and helpful. (Don't worry, my other kids aren't)  But we adore him and what he adds to our family. His passions are reading, building legos, playing battle games with friends, doing cubscouts, making those rubber band bracelet things, soccer and he has recently joined a wrestling team and is loving it so far.

Grandpa and Grandpa came to celebrate his actual birthday with us. We had a birthday breakfast since they would be leaving before church that day.

We moved the birthday boy into his own room which is the guest room/ computer desk room/ his room now.  It's a little complicated, but will do for the time being until we finish our basement. He is loving it. He and Logan needed different bed times and this works for now.

LOVE  LOVE LOVE little suits on little boys.

Chase's birthday means that we celebrate another year of marriage. Happy 12 years to us!
