There's really not much new in our life. We are just busy as can be with work, kids, church callings, etc. The hubby is the scout master and I'm the cub scout master. So we are pretty busy since our callings fall on the same night. And I end up with the baby. Holding the baby the whole time throughout pack meeting gets a litte hard. If anyone tries to take him from me, he screams bloody murder. I pray this phase will pass soon. I've never had a kid with such extreme stranger issues. Even when we have people over at our house, he clings to me and won't let me put him down. Blah. But with no one around, he spends his time happy and explores the house and everything in it.
We went on a little trip over the long holiday weekend. We went to a sunnier, warmer place and stayed in a great condo. My favorite part was how much warmer it was than at home.
Of course we went swimming a lot. I took lots of pics of the baby. He is the only one who moves slow enough. I can't catch my older boys. They just end up being blurs in the camera lens. I may have to get a better camera one day if I want more memories. :)
We enjoyed some sand dunes. The boys had a blast.
The babe put his head down and just started crawling. I don't know why it was so funny, but it was. He just crawled and crawled through the sand. He'd go down a hill, then he'd try to go up and then get tired and just sit. Then he'd fall on his face and eat some dirt. Good times.
It was a great weekend, though it went by too fast. The only bump in the road was that it was a nightmare in the night with the baby. He has slept great for the most part when we've traveled, but the first night we were there, he woke up in the night and screamed for three hours straight. We couldn't get him to calm down. He was kind of hysterical and crazy and we didn't know what to do. He finally fell asleep during a 3 am car ride. The next morning I looked at his gums and saw that they were all swollen and his very first tooth was barely poking through. I assume that kind of discomfort wigged him out or something. I don't know. The next night we gave him some tylenol and he slept much much better.
He's my little cutie.
He is also walking. It's fun.
