Merry Merry Christmas
This is the boys thinking, "Lets go wake up mom and dad so we can open presents. Hey, lets jump on the bed. Hey, we are wearing angry bird pajamas. Let's be angry birds." (boink) (crash) (bang)
If you look closely at a few of the pictures, Ty is chewing on a pipe. That's a common thing to have in an LDS household, right? A few christmases ago we recieved a white elephant gift that was a snowman decorator box. It had a hat, scarf, carrot nose, black buttons, and yeah....a pipe. Every year the boys do the snowman bit and then add the pipe. I always tell them to take it out. We don't smoke, nor do we believe in smoking, so therefore our snowman shouldn't smoke. You think they'd get this down by now. Most of you are thinking, so just get rid of the pipe. I have tried. It magically disappears every time I think of it. And then this Christmas, the baby kept getting ahold of if and would scream bloody murder at me if I tried to take it away. : )
Proof once again that babies don't give a care about getting presents. They just want to box. Ty was definetely by far our very best gift this year.

9 months
Big Ty, he's crawling like a maniac. He is cruising around on furniture and climbing everything that can be climbed. He is just like my other boy babies. Can't hold still, there's too much to explore and look at. The only time he will sit still and cuddle is if he is almost asleep after a feeding at bedtime, (which doesn't happen all the time.)
He still is a little dude. He is average in height but super teeny in weight. Single digit percentage. However, he's got massive sized hands and feet, so he'll probably grow into them. (Or be a weird looking small guy with huge appendages)
Still sparse on the hair :) He is a happy baby who is very adored.
He is looking more like a little boy, isn't he?

Ty Guy at 7 months
This is Ty's new trick. It makes him very happy.....
....except when he falls. :(
I don't understand why none of my boys think they need to crawl. Crawling is a week long stint that is a means to get to standing and then to walking...and then to running (sigh). Ty started sitting up at 6 months and was very happy about it. Two weeks later he got frustrated because he wanted to go to THAT (whatever that is). He started trying to move and found some success. He crawls a little, but mostly does something else when we are not looking and somehow ends up all over the place. All he really does is get somewhere so he can stand. Apparently, there is vital growth and processing (whatever that is) that is learned by crawling. Well, my boys do without that necessary stuff and go to walking. I guess that's why they are the way they are. :)
I think this is what my kids would look like if we had that awesome Busby hair gene.

Ten years later.....
I am pleased with how these pictures turned out. Mostly because (A) I love love love our bright color choices. These colors make me feel happy. I spent months trying to find these colors and as you know, our town only has walmart and like three colors to choose from. Thanks to Target and a few random stores, my vision became complete at a last minute shopping moment in a nearby bigger town. I forgot to look for the baby so luckily we found something in his closet that would work. (B) The area was fun to photograph around. I went out on a limb, not sure how it would turn out. It has a bit of a unique personality. And most importantly, we had to climb down into this empty water bed area and the kids were trapped so they couldn't go far... :) (C) All of us are actually in the picture (D) I think my kiddos are kind of cute and I like evidence of it.
Ty reminded us that he is a baby. He would not nap before the photo shoot. He was happy about half way through it. Near the middle, we tried to take his picture and he just wanted to put his head down, pick up rocks and leaves and eat them. AND WE COULD NOT GET HIS FINGERS OUT OF HIS MOUTH. We tried to take some more family shots near the end but by this time he was screaming his head off. None of those turned out.

Family
We have had an eventful two weeks. Over Labor day we went up north to my brother in laws wedding. Heather and Jeff were beautiful and the wedding was sweet. We are exicted to have Heather join the family. She is super sweet and nice and brings out the best in Jeff. My boys were security guards over the ring which they carried down the aisle in a lock box. They took their role very seriously. It was cute.
I'm just a teensy obsessed with taking Ty's picture. He smiles so much...I just can't help it.
The newest cousin babies. So stinking adorable...
Then my mom and brother who I haven't seen in two years came to my home for a short visit. I got to meet my nephew Tyler for the first time. He's so cute and fits right in with all my boys.
A beautiful picture of jeff and heather.

Good times in August
I love love love when they find their toes. So cute having they grab em all over the place. This stage is precious because everything is a wonder to them. He looks around and takes in everything. oh and he's almost 6 months old. When he's happy, he's very happy. When he's sad, he is oh so sad. He gives me plenty of both.
It seems like it has taken forever to get to this stage, but finally, I have sent Logan off to kindergarten. Yeah for me. Yeah for him. The first pick was my choic of a back to school poise, the "bat as a gun" was his choice of a poise. He did better than me.

Third Grade
It's that time of year again. Bitter sweet for me to let go of my good helper. It was hard to entertain him during the summer, but he was such a big help with the baby. I'm glad he still loves school. I hope it lasts...

My house (I like saying that)
So I will finally post some pictures of our house. I've been lazy, but mostly busy because you cannot get anything done in the summer with three kids home all day long demanding food and fun on the hour.
These posted backwards from what I meant to do, so that is why I am starting with this lovely picture of the staircase. Super exciting, right? However, I LOVE it. All my crap is down there. The toys, the bins, food storage, visions of a finished basement one day, etc. And our hammer decided to disappear during the move so we haven't hung a single thing up yet. :) Hope it decides to make an appearance one day.
The lighting was hard to work with while taking pictures. We have big windows all along the kitchen and living room walls so its super sunny. If I close the blinds it's super dark. The camera didn't want to work well with both options, and I don't even know how to work my camera.
Kitchen
Love love love my granite. So shiny and glossy and hard. Very loveable. We went with super rounded edges seeing that the island is right where my boys heads are as they run by. Logan has already bumped his a head a few times. (We know our kid's very well)
We have a humongous sectional and it has never fit into any place we have lived. It still doesn't. It takes up the whole space, but we love lounging on it.
The fireplace turned out real nice. Jonny really wanted one, so we did it. And we are glad we did. I don't love how the tv encroaches on the focal point of the fireplace, but when we finish our basement, we'll make the tv room down there. Then the fireplace can be happy.
Master bath- has a shower and a jetted tub, which I have been too busy to use :(
(to clarify, I meant the tub. I have washed, I promise)
And a seperate throne room which is kind of a nice bonus. Not necessary, but nice.
The room belonging to the Masters.
The second bathroom (kids, guests)
Back view. We really wanted to have an awning/porch thing. We had visions of sitting out watching it rain. Maybe throw some grilling parties in the future.
Future basketball court/extra driveway parking/extended patio party seating.
The grand front view with the gnarly weeds that are quickly overtaking the yard.
random pic of the shower.
laundry room
So there you have it. That's our house and we love it. It has 2 baths, 4 bedrooms, and an unfinished basement with lots of room to grow.
