The Bairds

I just want to brag about my handsome hubby, Jonny, for a moment. He is a fantastic athletic trainer, but he's wanted to go to graduate school for a few years, aspiring to be a physician assistant. Last year he interviewed with the University of Utah, but didn't make it in. So, over the past year, he's been working his tail off to do everything to qualify himself to the point where there's no way he could denied. This year, he's received invitations to interview at Yale, Eastern Washington University, Rocky Mountain College, and the Arizona school of health sciences. We haven't heard back from the University of Utah yet...but Jon's already been accepted to the Rocky Mountain College program. We just may be moving to Billings, Montana this coming summer. It's crazy.

It will be interesting going into school with a 4 year old + a 1 1/2 year old....interesting isn't the right word...it will be hard, but I'm looking forward to getting it done with, and Jonny is excited about the career. He digs healthcare. We are so excited that its happening, even though it will be a hard adjustment to suddenly become poor college students, and Jon will only be 30 by the time he starts the program. (ha ha)
